Buying
To browse or buy any of the items currently available on our eBay shop, simply visit:
https://charity.ebay.co.uk/charity/St-Andrews-Hospice/2393591
At the checkout, you can also choose to make a cash donation, of any amount, to St Andrew’s Hospice. The cost of the item, and any further donations made, will be paid to St Andrew’s Hospice by the PayPal Giving Fund.
Selling
It’s really simple to do:
When listing your item, there will be an option to ‘Sell for Charity’. Select this option to search for your chosen charity. To donate to us, please select St Andrews Hospice.
When asked to select your payment preference, please select PayPal. eBay for Charity works directly with the PayPal Giving Fund to enable sellers to donate a portion of their sales. Since donations are paid directly to the PayPal Giving Fund, the donation payment method must be a PayPal account. The PayPal Giving Fund automatically collects donations approximately 21 days after your item sells. Thanks to operating support from PayPal, 100% of every donation processed by the PayPal Giving Fund reaches your chosen charity.
Once you have selected your chosen charity, you can then set the percentage of the final selling price you would like to donate - between 10% - 100%. eBay will reduce the selling fee by the percentage donated. i.e, if you donate 50% to the charity, eBay will reduce the selling fee by 50%.

Each item listed in this way will be displayed with the yellow and blue charity eBay for Charity ribbon icon, letting potential buyers know that you have listed a charity sale.
Gift aid can be applied to any item listed this way.Using Gift Aid means that for every pound you give, the charity will receive an extra 25p from the government.
