Appreciation for the 14th Annual Ladies’ Tea

Thanks to each of the lovely ladies for all the

savory and delicious treats that were donated

to our 14th Annual “I Have Called You By

Name” Ladies’ Tea. Wednesday, October 7

was a beautiful sunny morning that each of you made possible with

your presence. The narthex was transformed once again into a

lovely tea room complete with lively conversation, beautiful flowers,

tea cups and of course, fantastic food.

We truly enjoyed our journey back in time with Lynn Rymarz as

Eleanor Roosevelt. The lessons of her life reminded us of being

faithful in all things and working hard to accomplish what life brings

our way.

This year we raised $388 after our expenses. This amount is being

donated to the St. Vincent de Paul Society here at St. Mary. This

organization brings some of the necessities of life to those who

have fallen on difficult circumstances. The needs are always there

and our prayers go with our donation to those who will receive it

that they will be able to get back on their feet soon.

Thank you once again to all who planned, put together favors, set

up tables, cleaned up, washed dishes, played music, sang, poured

hot water and arranged platters. It would not have been possible

without all of you.

Gratefully,

Kathleen Arata, Amy Heinzinger and the Ladies’ Tea Team
