Websi e Registrati

There are two ways you can Sign Up with Hellotxt. If you already have a Facebook accountthen you may prefer to simply use Facebook Connect. The Connect link on our homepage

will take you through a series of steps to automatically register you, using your Facebookaccount information.

The second way to Sign Up to Hellotxt is to register for an account through the website, to dothis:

1. Click the sign up now button on the home screen to enter the registration stage.

2. Enter a valid email and password, then complete your registrationpressing Sign Up

Android & i one/i ad Registration

The steps for registering via Hellotxts smartphone application (Android/iPhone/iPad) will be

the same as step #2, but take place within the application itself, so there is no need to visit the

Hellotxt website.

Account Acti ation

Once the account has been created, the website will automatically direct you to the main

Dashboard where you will have the chance to add various social networks.

Adding a social network is a simple process and is all done within the Dashboardfollowingthe on-screen prompts

1. Simply click the Addbutton

2. Depending on the network chosen to add, the text and graphics displayed might beslightly different, however the process itself is very much the same

3. Clicking on the link presented in Step 2 will take you to an authentication pagewhereby you have to give permission to Hellotxt to access your social network

account.

4. Once you have successfully allowed permission toHellotxt to read and write to your socialnetwork you will again be brought back to the Dashboard.

To add more networks at any time, you can click on theNetworksbuttonatthetopofyour

Dashboard.

Posting Updat

Updatingyourstatustoanyofyournetworksisassimpleastypingintothe Composerandthen

pressingsend.Thereareseveralenhancementsforpostinghowever,thatyoumaywanttoexplore:

Addsmedia,suchasasongfrom Blip.fm,aphotofrom Flickr,oravideofrom YouTube.

Selectthisicontoscheduleanupdateforalatertime/date. Afterclickingyouwillseedatafieldsfor

Date,Hour, Minute,andTime zone.Onceyouhavethecorrecttimesent,andyourstatusentered,

click Schedulethisupdate

Posting with Geo-Location

Hellotxtalsohasageo-locationfeaturebuiltintoboththewebandsmartphoneapplications,that

allowsyoutoaddinformationaboutyourlocationtoyourposts.Tocreateapostthatusesthegeo-

locationfeatureyouwillhavetoenablegeo-locationsharing.

Onceclickedthiswillopenanewscreenshowingalistoflocationsyoucanselecttouseasyour

iOS and Android devices:

Thesettingsforactivatinggeo-locationwithintheapplicationsforiOS and Androiddevicesare

slightlydifferent. Additionallythismethodismoreaccurateindeterminingyourlocationgiventhe

relianceonthe GPS datafromthephone.
