Hello from Kezar Library! As many of you may already know, Kezar Library is now home to the Romeo Community Archive. The Archive is home to the Joan D. and Melvin E. Bleich Romeo Observer Collection, Romeo Monday Club Collection, Peach Festival Collection and more. These collections tell the history of Romeo, Washington and Bruce in documents, newsprint, photographs and other ephemera. In the coming months, the Archive will be open to the public during regular Kezar Library business hours. While we are working hard to get the Archive open to the public, we could always use volunteers to help us in the process and even after we open. Please contact us at the Kezar Library if you are interested in volun-teering your time. If you are unable to give your time, please consider giving to the Romeo Commu-nity Archive Fund at the Four County Community Foundation. This fund was started by the Friends of the Romeo District Library to help fund the Romeo Community Archive and thus preserve and maintain the history of Ro-meo, Washington and Bruce. This is an exciting time at the Kezar Library and we are looking forward to help-ing you with all of your local history and genealogy research needs! Stacie Guzzo Branch Manager / Archivist
