Hello and welcome to ATKV Natalia

2020 was most definitely an unusual and whirlwind year, and for a large part of the year, everyone's life boats sailed

in stormy waters. Despite this year's challenges, ATKV Natalia did not sit idly by.

Although this year delivered many challenges, it was definitely a year wherein each of us had to learn to count our

blessings anew. Our loyal guests are definitely one of our biggest blessings, and therefore, I want to use this

opportunity to thank every one of you for your unconditional support and for still choosing Natalia as your preferred

holiday destination.

The safety of our staff and guests will remain a priority, in order to curb the spread of the Coronavirus in South-Africa.

At the ATKV, we are aware of the seriousness of the COVID-19 pandemic and we therefore ensure that the necessary

protocols and preventative measures are in place. In so doing, we do not only ensure that the necessary procedures

and measures are continuously reviewed, adapted and implemented, but also that guests will still have the best

possible holiday experience. The ATKV staff will still stay focused on maintenance and the critical aspects of the resort.

That said, I want to request our guests to not only rely on what the resort has put in place, but to also take responsibility

for their own behaviour and thereby protect themselves and their fellow guests as far as possible. Please note the

following, above all:

The resort focuses on the family market and therefore, children, safety and adhering to the resort rules are high

priorities for us. Due to limited space in the entertainment area, we kindly request that you do not put up any

gazebos. Smoking is also not allowed in this area – please use the designated smoking area. This way, you will be

considerate of your fellow holiday-goers.

Very important: Wear your mask, keep your distance and wash your hands regularly.

Upon your arrival, you received a one-pager information sheet that contains all of the relevant emergency numbers

and the Wi-Fi information. Programmes will be available on our Facebook page.

The team is at your service this holiday. Let's discuss and resolve problems as they arise. Suggestions are always

welcome. Outside office hours, the manager on duty can be contacted on 082 902 1081.

RULES OF THE RESORT

Please adhere to all the rules of the resort. We want to ensure that all our guests enjoy their stay at our beautiful

resort. Without regarding the other rules as less important, we want to focus on the following:

No loud music is permitted at any time at the resort. Music may be enjoyed, but please listen to it in such a

way that it does not disturb the other people at the resort. The staff at the resort will play loud music

occasionally, and even on some evenings as indicated on the programme. However, loud music provided by

the resort will never be played after 23:00, without prior notice.

After 23:00 there should be silence in the resort, and no noise will be tolerated.

The resort’s recreational area may not be used between 22:00 and 06:00. That includes the swimming pool,

trampolines, skating rink and putt-putt course in front of the flats. This rule applies to every day of the week

and no persons or groups will be permitted in these areas during that time.

Gazebos are not permitted in the recreational area.

No eating, drinking or smoking is allowed in any swimming pool, or on the paved area around the swimming

pool.

According to legislation, smoking is prohibited in public areas. There is a smoking area to the right of the

communal braai area.

For the sake of hygiene, babies and small children must always be wearing a swimming nappy in the

swimming pool.

The smoking of a hubbly bubbly is strictly prohibited at the resort.

Please do not feed any wild animals (monkeys, cats or doves). The monkeys are cute, but remain dangerous.

No cycling is allowed in the recreational area in front of the flats.

Vehicle permits must be displayed on the front window of your vehicle at all times. Campers’ vehicles must be

parked either on their own stand, or on the additional parking area in the caravan park – not in front of the

flats.

No scooters, skateboards, bicycles, roller skates or motorised scooters may be used in the hall; also not at the

two downhills at the flats. This rule is for the sake of everyone’s safety.

The beach guards are on duty from 06:00 to 17:00 daily. The beach gate is open from 06:00 to 17:00.

Lifesavers are on duty on the beach from 08:00 to 17:00 daily.

The holiday programme is subject to change without prior warning, especially in the case of bad weather

conditions. However, these changes will always be for the wellbeing and safety of our guests.

During holidays only a limited number of day visitors and visitors of resident guests are permitted access. In

these exceptional cases, the visitors may visit the resort from 08:00 to 21:00. Prior arrangements must be

made with Reception, 24 hours in advance. Right of admission is reserved.

Emergencies, complaints and faults can be reported at Reception during office hours and at the main gate

after office hours. You can also contact the manager on duty on 082 902 1081.

Wood and ice are available at the shop during business hours. Availability is subject to stock.

There are two Wi-Fi options available at Natalia. Visit Reception for information and instructions.

5. Cleaning service

The flats are services daily, except on Sundays. This service includes the making of beds, washing of floors and

the cleaning of the bathrooms and the kitchen. Towels and linen are changed every third day.

6. Laundry

Two ladies are available to do your laundry. Their contact details are available at Reception. This is a private

service. These ladies are self-employed and not staff members of the resort.
