Fees paid through Iowa State Fair sponsorships directly support the general operating budget of the 2018 Iowa State Fair. These funds are different from those raised by the Blue Ribbon Foundation, who actively raise funds for the renovations and capital improvements to the Fairgrounds. Contributions made to the Blue Ribbon Foundation are charitable tax-deductions; Iowa State Fair sponsorships are not considered tax-deductible. The 2017 Iowa State Fair was a ! In more way than one! You can’t think of this past Fair without recalling the . Eleven near perfect days, only two of which had light rain, and most were sunny with highs in the 80s. And then there were the Fairgoers! visitors enjoying new attractions along with traditions that have created memo-ries and enhanced visits year after year. It truly was a Fair for the record books. The 2017 Fair theme highlighted the
. Thrill Ville encompassed an expanded Midway; Thrill Town entertained families with young children, and Thrill Zone provided high-flying and high-speed thrills for the bravest Fairgoers. During the 2017 Fair, our who viewed 1,828,297 pages. Of these viewers, 44.35% were new visitors. 72% of the views were from a mobile device, 19.38% desktop and 5.90% tablet. Even one week after the Fair, we had 23,627 users viewing 59,923 pages.
