Hegemonic Competition Between India and China in South and Southeastern Asia In the Field of Hard Components of (economic) Power Abstract India and China are the two superpowers in Asia that are fighting constantly over hegemony in this geographical region. Three subjective and two geographical fields are controversial between the two and they are growing and intensifying. The subjective contest involves political, economic, and military scene. Similarly, economic contest involves domestic and over-the-border issues. In over-the-border side of competition, both superpowers are vying on four levels: the Middle East, Central Asia, Eastern and Southeastern Asia. The present paper is trying to demonstrate the competition for wining in the subjective and economic fields happening in South and Southeastern Asia as a scene of geographical contest.
