City Harvest Passover Food Drive: ENDS THIS SUNDAY Help us feed hungry New Yorkers this Pesach. We will be collecting
Kosher for Passover non-perishable, canned and packaged food (sealed) in the
coat room until Sunday, March 25th
Pre-Pesach Coatroom Cleaning Alert On Monday, March 26th the Bayit coatroom will be completely emptied.
All personal belongings left in the coatroom will be donated or disposed of.
Please remove all belongings before then.

(Snacks included!). Please do not bring full boxes of cereal.

KNITTING CLUB: THIS MONDAY, 3/26
WARM UP AMERICA KNITTING PROJECT The HIR Knitting Club has launched the HIR Knitting Club
Warms Up America Project. In partnership with Lion Brand
Yarn Company we will be knitting and/or crocheting small
squares to be made up into afghans by the volunteer group Warm Up America. The blankets are then given to recipients
such as women’s shelters, nursing homes, children’s hospitals
and shelters, veterans’ homes and homeless shelters. We ask
only that you know how to knit or crochet. Yarn, needles and
hooks will be provided courtesy of Lion Brand Yarn Company.

Monthly meetings will take place as follows:
1) On the 1st Tuesday of each month at 1:00pm
2) On the 4th Monday of each month at 7:00pm

survivors and their families to re-tell the
experiences of the Holocaust. Please note: Mincha
will be at 6:45pm, and Maariv will follow the Seder (approx. 9:00pm).

As in recent years, we will be remembering loved ones who were
survivors at this year's Yom HaShoah Seder. If you have loved ones
who were survivors and who have passed away and you would like us
to share their memory at the program, please bring a photo of them

RIVERDALE JEWISH CENTER: Rabbi Simcha Krauss will be teaching a Gemara class on Sundays at 9:15am in the RJC
basement until Pesach. He will be learning Pesachim (chametz u'Matza and the Seder). It is a high-level shiur made accessible to
participants at all levels. At a typical shiur, Rabbi Krauss will learn Gemara, Rashi, Tosfos, Rambam, and quote from The GR"A,
Rav Chaim Soloveichik, Rav Moshe Soloveichik, and Rav Yosef Dov Soloveichik. All are welcome! Each interactive class is

PROJECT EZRAH AND MA’AYANOT YESHIVA HIGH SCHOOL FOR GIRLS invites women in the community to the
second annual Genius Bar, a “reverse mentorship” program. Women eager to learn technology skills will be paired with Ma’ayanot
student mentors who will work one-on-one to help the women achieve their goals. The Genius Bar, which is free of charge, has
several menu options to choose from, including Google apps, Microsoft Office, graphic design, iMovie, social media and general
computing. A pre-session will also be given by an HR professional and Ma’ayanot’s Technology staff about LinkedIn, Personal

THE RUTKA'S NOTEBOOK HOLOCAUST CONTINUITY PROJECT is planning a trip to YIVO Institute, 15 West 16th
Street, for a symposium entitled: Holocaust and Genocide: From the Past to the Present which will take place on Tuesday,

YIVO - HOLOCAUST AND GENOCIDE: PAST AND PRESENT: A symposium on the history and current impact of the
Holocaust and the Genocide Convention on its 70th Anniversary. Issues to be addressed by the speakers, panelists and then
audience discussion include the causes and process of the Holocaust before and during it; analysis of the U.N. Convention on
Genocide and the contentious history of its adoption by the U.S. and elsewhere; the current role of the Holocaust in public and

DRISHA: Apply to join a community of engaged and inquisitive young women in high school for an immersive learning and urban
living experience like no other. Our Beit Midrash environment provides a vibrant atmosphere for students to explore the vast
world of Jewish texts, focusing on havruta study, skill acquisition, and commitment to growth in Torah learning. Students experi-
ence the pulse of New York City through engagement with the broader lansdscape of arts, culture and urban living. The program

L'DOR V'DOR SUMMER INTERNSHIP: The Hebrew Home at Riverdale is accepting applications for their L’Dor V’Dor
Summer Internship, an innovative, fun and meaningful four week program for Jewish teenagers. Interns volunteer at the Hebrew
Home, connect with residents, and attend educational seminars & workshops. L’Dor V’Dor will be held from July 2 - July 27,
Monday - Friday from 9:00am – 5:00pm. Participants are selected on the basis of their application, interview, and references.
