Bringing heavy oil to lifeI am very excited to act as Chairman of the Technical Conference at Heavy Oil Latin America Conference & Exhibition. It is important that there is focus on Latin America with respect to heavy oil challenges and technology plays a vital role in the development of resources.

The Technical Committee has received over 100 abstracts submitted by authors from Latin America and beyond. We will select 80 of them to be presented at the conference. There will be concurrent sessions on a variety of topics that will be integral to bringing knowledge and information to the heavy oil community. Thank you to our Technical Committee, who have been instrumental in understanding the need to balance all of the challenges related to heavy oil and offer expertise from many areas of the supply chain.
