Heat seal embroidered trim items can be bonded to a wide variety of fabrics. Due to the many possibilities of fabrics and equipment, several factors should be considered in selecting the adhesive and how to attain the optimum performance from that adhesive.

In general, a coating thickness of 5 mils (.005") of adhesive is recommended for most applications. For very thin, tightly-woven or light weight flat fabrics, a lower gauge of .003 may be adequate. For very thick or open mesh fabrics, .007" is often required.

Heat seal embroideries are outstanding for quality and product consistency. No uneven edges ever again. Heat Seal has improved dramatically over the years using a combination of high heat and pressure to bond the film transfer to the garment. Heat seal garments can be machine washed and will last for years if cared for properly.
