Viscosity reduction can generates increased

1. Heavy Oil High viscosity oil will not pump consistently and may plug production tube or cause problems with downhole pumps. In permafrost (e.g. Alaska) it cools at top of well
2. Hydrate Formation Hydrates can form when pressure temperatures decrease plugging the flow line
3. Paraffin Precipitation High Paraffin containing oil forms wax deposits as oil cools through the flow line.
