 1. Sound knowledge of chemical engineering. Unit operations and processes Process engineering, designs with computers and design softwears such as chemcad, Hysis, Aspen .Familiar with scale up techniques, preparation of PFDs, P&IDs, Heat & Mass balance. Knowledge of Catalysts and Catalytic reactors. 2. Designing of Heat Exchangers. Should have knowledge of AutoCad 3. Specifications using design codes like ASME sec Vlll DIV1,DIV 2,SEC I,& SEC II. PD5500,TEMA, API 660,661,650 &620. 4. Understand basic & detailed engineering. Perform material & energy balance, Design calculation of equipments 5. Exposure to process simulation & heat exchanger design software, Conceptual Process Design, Process Simulation, PFD & heat-mass balance 6.  preparation and checking of Design calculations of Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers and other Process Equipments according to national and international codes like ASME, TEMA, AD MERKBLATTER, PD 5500, etc. 7. Operating knowledge of BaaN, Autocad, PV Elite Software 8. Exp. in preparing PDI, Indentifying Pipes for stress analysis. PHA/PSM exposure .Knowledge of ASPEN Tools, HTRI, Hydraulics software, PDMS is must. 9. should have designing experience in Pressure vessels and Heat, Static equipments detail engineering using ASME, API, TEMA Standards Material requirement related design and estimation. 10. Candidate must have completed course in CAD - 2-6 years experience in mechanical drawing, heat exchanger drawing, piping design. CAD professionals will be required to do mechanical design, fabrication design, piping drawings of Heat Exchangers, Condenser, Reboiler, Pre-heaters, Food processing systems, Pasteurizers. 11. Simulation & development of PFD's, P&ID. Equipment sizing & Instrumentdatasheets. Thermal design of fire Heater & Heat exchanger. Trouble shooting of process parameters. Optimization of plant processes. 12. stage wise inspection for fabrication activity (inhouse) for pressure vessel, column, heat exchanger, storage tank & reactor vessel etc. as per asmd code sec. viii.

  • 13. Must Have Skills: HTRI/MS OFFICE/BJAC. Thermal rating of exchangers using

    HTRI/HTFS.

    14. Designing of Static Equipments such as Pressure vessels, Columns, Storage tanks.

    * Design of Reactors,Coloumns, Heat Exchangers,Air Coolers, Plate Exchangers,

    Pressure Vessels.* Exposure in relevant international codes and be will conversed

    with software like HTRI/ HTFS, PV Elite, Compress, B JAC etc. Knowledge

    of Codes/Standards like TEMA, ASME, NACE, API, BS 5500, WRC 107, IS

    875, IBR, ASTM, RMRS normally used for design and construction of Heat

    Exchanger, Pressure Vessel, Tank and other process equipments.* Thermal and

    Mechanical Design of Heat Exchanger as per the international codes and

    standards.

    15. HTRI - For Thermal Design of Heat Exchanger.* B-JAC - For Mechanical

    Design of Heat Exchanger.* COMPRESS - For Mechanical static Equipment

    Design.* PV-ELITE - For Mechanical Design of Pressure Vessel, Column, Heat

    Exchanger.

    16. Develop Heat and Material balances and Process Flow diagrams.

    17. Preparation and checking of Design calculations of Pressure Vessels, Heat

    Exchangers and other Process Equipments according to national and international

    codes like ASME, TEMA, AD MERKBLATTER, PD 5500, etc.
