WORK DAYS We work on Saturday, take Sunday off and work from Monday- Friday. There will be day projects and night projects available during the week. Lunches will be served at St. Paul’s UMC from 11:30-1:15 (we will have two lunch periods - 11:30-12:15 and 12:30- 1:15 because of the large numbers to feed). Suzanne Myers and Suzie Mays played in the annual golf tournament benefit-ing St. Paul Children’s Foundation on May 4 at Eagles Bluff. Marvin members Bruce and Teresa Bloch were the chairs of the successful event that raised more than $60,000 for the ministry.

Life is like that for many elderly and disabled all over Tyler. We send thanks and prayers to the Lord that there is a so-lution to the problem of grow-ing hunger and isolation! If we can borrow your car with you in it, for just a little over one

Bits and pieces Communion offering

Our communion offering in in June will be dedicated to Mission Week. This annual project, set for June 19-27, involves hundreds of volunteers putting their “faith in action” throughout our community.

UMCOR trip

Only a few spaces remain on our annual mission trip to UMCOR Depot in Bald-win, Louisiana. Our team will work in the disaster relief warehouse Oct. 25-30. Total cost is $300. contact Melissa Brigman for more information.

A UM Army work camp will stay at our church July 5-11. This group of high school, college and adult volunteers from around the Texas Conference will call our church home while they provide free home repairs for deserving people in the community.
