Eating healthy is an important part of our living style. Healthy food can make our body fit and fine. For your healthy heart, you have to take care of ingredients of the food. More fat is not good for heart as it can create the problems of heart stroke or heart attacks. Cooking healthy meals is not that tough or difficult as you think.

Some people advice that you should eat less oil and be restricted to the diet you are taking but this is not possible at times. However, you need to change your diet and food habits too but limiting the amount of fats and carbohydrates is also important.

Tips for healthy food are as follows:

•If you are a heart patient, it does not imply that you have to follow a strict diet, you can change the ingredients. Like sugar and salt are the two things that you have to control but do not totally ignore them. If you are enjoying your food then it can help you to reduce the level of fat or cholesterol.•Control your intake of dairy products as well as meat because they contain more fat. You should also avoid the cooked food that contains even the smallest amount of fats. The processed food is more harmful as it contains more amount of fat in it as compared to the fresh food which contains less sodium than the processed food. •Cooking oil is used to make food but try to use less oil for cooking so that it can give you taste as well as makes you healthier. •Use the method of steaming or stir-frying to preserve the color and nutrients of the vegetables and food. •Herbs, vinegar, vegetables like onion, tomatoes should be used so as to retain your heart healthy and low fat. •Eat fresh fruits and juices with less sugar or salt it makes you fresh, cool and healthier. •Egg yolks is high in fat and calories so try to avoid eating yellow part of the egg. Instead of this you can eat white part of the egg. •Avoid the usage of refrigerated dough, cakes, as they are rich in fats and sodium. •Eating healthy foods keeps your body fit and it helps to reduce your weight. Cut down all your calories and fats, and eat healthy food.

•Prepare sweet potatoes for your health. Try to buy fresh sweet potatoes and roast them in a very small amount of oil and low salt, add herbs so that it can provide you the proper nutrients of healthy food. •Instead of using cooking oil, you should use olive oil in preparing food. It has very less amount of fat, cholesterol and helps you to stay healthy because it is rich in nutrients. •White flour is rich in fats so try to use whole-wheat flour in your baking. As whole wheat flour contains entire grain and fiber that is helpful to keep your body fit and healthy. However, before taking any flour you should check the ingredients and ratios of ingredients they are using. •Greek yogurt helps in reducing the level of fat. Instead of using sour cream you can use sour yogurt. Put yogurt in small container and squeeze the lemon into yogurt. Mix it well and serve it, which makes your food more healthy and natural.•Try to educate your children about healthy foods for heart, which helps to make them aware about the benefits of healthy food. Enhance the activities that involve exercises.
