SMOKINGMany pupils of our school smoke from the early age –

10 - 11 years.

Many of them are from families where mother, father or both of them have smoked for a long time.

Many of them don´t realize the danger of smoking.

Many of them don´t admit their future healthy problems.

Number of child and adolescent smokers continues to increase.

Children's organism is much more sensitive to the harmful effects of smoking.

Children´s health damages more easily and seriously than the health of adults.

An addiction to nicotine occurs very rapidly.

ALCOHOL there are 550 000 people depedent on

alcohol in the Czech republic

there are many children (to 18 years) among them

outsider isn´t the one who drinks alcohol

outsider is the one who doesn´t drink it

our schoolmates have experiences with drinking alcohol, too

We know that :

alcohol is much more dangerous for children and teenagers than for adults

risk of liver disease and nervous system increases if children only occasionally drink alcohol

the younger they drink, the greater the risk of dependence to other drugs is

the earlier a child begins to drink, the faster he or she will become addicted

We know that :

An experience with the psychotropic drugs has almost any other child.

Marijuana in children and adolescents is completely normal.

Many of teenagers take pervitin or inject heroin.

Number of children taking hard drugs has doubled over the last ten years.

Czech children dominate Europe: most of drink, dope and commit suicide.

Drugs and the Czech Rep.

We wanted to share all these informations with our schoolmates.

That is why we made a poster about healthy and unhealthy lifestyle and talked with them

about dangers of drugs, what we can do not to need cigarettes, alcohol or psychotronic drugs.

Healthy lifestyle means :
