Initial Focus of SIG• Bringing together researchers with knowledge of

WHI’s more traditional lines of research and researchers with health services research background/ CMS experience

• Clarifying data sources and availability (updating data to 2010 and Part D requests in process)

• Training of WHI statistical analysts to work with CMS data

• Establishing procedures and timeline for analytical access to data from outside CCC that protects WHI participants’ privacy (data enclave)
