1. THE MAIN OBJECTIVE: HEALTHIER LIVING Horizon Academys kiddos could benefit from healthier living education The HSC (Health Sciences Club) will educate and provide fun opportunities to learn healthy habits HSC will only tackle the most relevant issues

PRE-ASSESSMENT We must identify what the kiddos know Pre-assessment will be use to determine HSCs effectiveness Quick easy, and be completed by any kiddo at a 3rd grade comprehensive level or above 4. THE HONOR: HEALTH SCIENCES SCOUT Students will be awarded in the same way as a boy/girl scout In May there will be a special assembly to award all the kiddos to health scout status We hope this is a new permanent program that can continue with the support of UMKC administration 5. Kiddos will be awarded frequently for their participation in their own health We also would ask some involvement with teachers and parents by supporting kiddos We hope that a better educated kiddo will yield healthier life choices 6.
