-In a common’s debate David Cameron called on the government to annul revised CDM 2007 Regs.
- Richard Jones IOSH Director of Tech. Affairs commented: Mr Cameron’s opposition to these revised regulations typifies some of the negative attitudes and misunderstandings H&S professionals are trying to tackle
- CDM 2007 is about designing in safety taking a planned risk based approach, it’s a win:win situation: Workers & the public will be protected, clients will avoid costly delays. CDM 2007 is less bureaucratic than the previous regs. Its about practical problem solving, getting the job done well and safely.
