Infant deaths prompt recall of more rocking sleepers

Following reports of infant deaths, Kids II has announced a recall of 694,000 Infant Rocking Sleepers. Thenotice comes shortly after Fisher-Price announced a recall of 4.7 million Rock n Play sleepers.

Some infants had rolled from their backs to their stomachs while unrestrained in the products, according to theConsumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).

Parents should not use either product and should contact the company for a refund or voucher. They alsoshould report incidents to SaferProducts.gov.

Hazard: The eyeshadow, compact powder and contour palette might be contaminated with asbestos fibers.Asbestos can cause cancer.

Description: Recalled are Claire's brand eyeshadow (SKU 84716, lot No. 08/17), compact powder (SKU 83915,lot No. 07/15) and contour palette (SKU 40194, lot No. 04/17).

Remedy: Stop using the cosmetics and return them to the store for a refund.
