Infant deaths prompt recall of more rocking sleepers
Following reports of infant deaths, Kids II has announced a recall of 694,000 Infant Rocking Sleepers. Thenotice comes shortly after Fisher-Price announced a recall of 4.7 million Rock n Play sleepers.
Some infants had rolled from their backs to their stomachs while unrestrained in the products, according to theConsumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).
Parents should not use either product and should contact the company for a refund or voucher. They alsoshould report incidents to SaferProducts.gov.
The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) called for the CPSC to pull the Rock n Play from shelves afterConsumer Reports reported 32 infant deaths from the product.
Five infants have died in the Kids II Infant Rocking Sleepers since 2012. The Kids II products were soldnationwide from March 2012 through April 26, 2019 at major retailers like Walmart, Target and Toys "R" Us andonline for $40 to $80.

The AAP does not recommend letting infants sleep in inclined products that require restraining a baby. Infantsshould be placed to sleep on their backs, on a separate, flat and firm sleep surface without any bumpers,bedding or stuffed toys.

Girls' cosmetics
Hazard: The eyeshadow, compact powder and contour palette might be contaminated with asbestos fibers.Asbestos can cause cancer.
Description: Recalled are Claire's brand eyeshadow (SKU 84716, lot No. 08/17), compact powder (SKU 83915,lot No. 07/15) and contour palette (SKU 40194, lot No. 04/17).
Sold at: Claire's stores nationwide.
Remedy: Stop using the cosmetics and return them to the store for a refund.

Hazard: The rug's shag cover does not meet flammability standards, posing a fire hazard.
Description: Recalled are Ruggable brand area rugs in shag vintage crème, shag ivory and luxury shag white.The two-piece rugs measure 5-by-7 feet. The top shag rug cover is made of furry yarn, and the bottom piece isan anti-slip floor pad. The shag rug cover also was sold separately.

Description: Recalled are children's hooded bathrobes made of 100% cotton. Robes have a button closure onthe chest and came in gray with a white and pink or white and blue inside lining in sizes 6 months to 3 years old.White robes with an embroidered cat's face on the hood, two ears attached to the top and a belt came in sizes 6to 12 months.
