Utility Shuttle SutureAll HEALIX ADVANCE Anchors w/ PERMATAPE Suture include a utility shuttle suture to facilitate simultaneous passing of multiple suture tails for a knotless bridging technique

1. Insert two PERMATAPE Suture anchors medially through one or more stab incisions

4. Retrieve anterior PERMATAPE Sutures to the lateral portal and load both tails into the loop of the utility suture

7. Complete the repair by retrieving one suture tail from each anchor and securing each pair with a HEALIX ADVANCE™ Knotless Anchor placed laterally

2. Pass the tail of the utility suture through the posterior cuff using EXPRESSEW® III Flexible Suture Passer via the lateral portal

5. Pull the utility suture tail to shuttle multiple sutures through a single point

3. Retrieve the tail end of the utility shuttle suture out an anterior portal

6. Repeat steps 2-5 with the posterior sutures #2 sutures may be removed at any point if they will not be used

Knot Tying Option PERMATAPE Suture may be used in a traditional suture bridge configuration by passing the suture in a mattress configuration and securing it with static knots. The utility shuttle is unused with this option. Sliding knots are not recommended when tying PERMATAPE Suture.

Rip Stop Option PERMACORD Suture may be passed in a mattress fashion to create a rip stop and to independently secure the footprint. For a rip stop configuration, PERMACORD Suture should be passed lateral to and secured with knots after passing the PERMATAPE Suture.
