This scripture should give great joy to those who need a physicalhealing, but not only physical, but emotional and spiritual healing.Why? Because this story alone, shows the abundant love of ourheavenly Father. It offers to us today, the assurance that God doeshear our prayers. It shows us that God does care that we are ingreat need and that in such a place of need, He has compassion forHis people. Often in the New Testament, when Jesus healed, theword of God says He healed with compassion. How many timeshave you called out to God with tears?
I had been praying diligently for several days for the Lord to takefrom me, my tears. I would cry whenever I felt the presence of theLord. I was very embarrassed because I was concerned that itmade others uncomfortable. I was standing at the altar in aservice and I heard the Lord say in a very firm but loving way,No. I asked, But why Lord? and He said, They honor me. I

will never forget the love that I felt from the Lord at that veryinstant. You see, God loves a heart that is willing to be broken andexposed for His glory. Never again did I feel embarrassed aboutmy tears, instead, I rejoice that in this small way, I can bring
honor to my King.
