The Art & Science of formulating Essential oils
According to Einstein's Theory of Relativity
Objectives:
• Basic understanding of Einstein's Theory of Relativity.
• How the theory relates to our lives.
• How the theory relates to observations during assessment.
• How the theory relates to the choice of essential oils.
• Defining sympathetic and para-sympathetic behavior.
• Differentiating oils on how they work on the nervous system.
• Formulating the essential oils and understanding the chemical results of the formula.
Einstein's Theory of Relativity
That different observers moving at different speed
will find that the speed of light remain the same, even though they will have different
perceptions of time and distance!
“ In other words, your reality is determined by your point of view."
The Three elements in the theory are:1. Time
2. Space3. Light
The Three Elements that are included in the Theory and how they relate to each individual!
What is TIME in the world of physics?
It is a measuring tool that measures intervals of events -> using units that WE have chosen for a purpose!
What does Time mean in YOUR LIFE?
If we were to take away the clock.
Our time would be determined by what we do and how we relate to what we do!
Space• What is Space in the world of physics?
Space is the boundless three-dimensional boundery in which objects and events occur and have relative position and direction.
What is YOUR SPACE?
We are given the platform of life into the space of a physical body that carries a unique light force.
The Speed of LIGHT!!!
In the laws of physics it is considered; The speed of Light is constant.
• The Light Force in a persons life – is the essence of the individual, that reflects the uniqueness of Character traits that never change only the time and space surrounds it.
Autonomic Nervous System Responsible for involuntary response
Parasympathetic • Rest & Recovery• Calms the system down• Reduces heart activity.• Releases tears and
salvation.• Increases digestive
activity.
Sympathetic • Fight and Flight • Increases heart rate and
blood pressure.• Increases muscle tension• Releases glucose and
Insulin. • Activates sexual behavior.• Defends your life and
survival
Proper balance between the two is the key to good health!
What are her strengths.
Where are her strengths?
Sympathetic Behavior
Tune into her life force!
Look for her positive traits?
Tune into her life force!
Where are her strengths?
Parasympathetic- Observer her strengths
Observe how her strengths become her weakness

Types of Formulations
Therapeutic Formulations• Therapeutic Synergies are
essential oils & their chemical components working together to produce an effect greater than the sum of their individual effects. It is advisable not to use more than 3 essential oil or major chemical.
Perfume Formulations.
• The art of compounding fragrances to create a perfume. Infinite number of oils.
Finding Dilutions
Finding out amount of Carrier
1 ml. = 20 Drops of Carrier oil• Examples:• 10 ml of carrier oil = 200 drops
of carrier oil• 30 ml of carrier oil = 600 drops
of carrier oil
• To find out how many drops of essential oil needed.
• Multiply the % with the total sum of carrier oil.
• Example• 1% of 200 drops of carrier oil = 2
drops of essential oils• 3% of 200 drops of carrier oil = 6
drops of essential oils• 5% of 200 drops of carrier oil = 10
drops of essential oils
