Laser material processing uses high power lasers to generate intense light beams

Monocrom has developed a miniaturized and

extremely robust diode-pumped solid state laser

(DPSSL) with second harmonic generation (SHG)

for the ESA ExoMars (2020) mission on Mars. The

device will be part of the Raman LIBS equipment

included in the Mars exploration rover.
