Please note: MTN is in the process of rolling out a no-borders service for many countries in Africa. Once this is in place coverage at RSA rates will be greatly extended.

    THEFTSTOP

    • Detects theft whether the vehicle is stationary, mobile or switched off.

    • Compares the net volume of engine fuel used to the volume reduction in the tank over pre-set intervals and notifies the user if any discrepancy is detected.

    • Automatically compensates for fuel viscosity changes with temperature and differing flow rates through the flow sensors.

    • Monitors and records all refuel and theft events.

    • Records the position of the vehicle via GPS when events occur.

    • Transmits all data to the Theftstop Base Station

    • A flow sensor is fitted in the pipeline going from the fuel tank to the main fuel pump.

    • Another flow sensor is fitted into the return line to the fuel tank.

    • The difference between the two is the engine consumption.

    • Up to 3 tanks can be monitored per vehicle.• An increase in the total volume indicates a

refuel event.• A reduction in total volume indicates tank

consumption.• Optionally a Theftstop unit can also monitor a

trailer belly tank, and auto-fill the truck horse's tank.

    • When a vehicle is refueled, the volume filled into the tank will be recorded as a refuel event.

    • Even if the attendant stops refueling for a time and restarts, the total volume dispensed before the vehicle moves will be recorded.

    • All sensors are regularly checked for functionality. Any deviation will be recorded as a malfunction event.

    • Should the unit be disconnected from the battery, a disconnect event will be recorded.

    • A Theftstop technician will be alerted for any deviations so that corrective action can be taken.

    • All events are transmitted in real time to the Theftstop Base Station.

    • Alerts for refill, theft or function deviations are sent to the client via a smartphone application, from the Base Station in real time.

    • Should the client need more details about an event, he will have access to his folder in the database, which he may examine and/or download.

There is an option:• While beyond the limits of RSA MTN towers,

the unit will store all event data until it is again within reach of a tower, whereupon it will download the recorded data.

    • The client may elect to pay roaming charges while beyond RSA towers.

    FLOW SENSOR TO FUEL PUMP

Accurately measures the fuelvolume delivered to the highpressure pump.

    FUEL THEFT DETECTION SYSTEM

Designed specifically for diesel powered vehic les , the system monitors for theft under 3 modes:• Vehicle stationary engine off.• Vehicle stationary engine running.• Vehicle in motion

    The system monitors changes in the fuel level and compares this with fuel c o n s u m e d . T r a n s m i t s a n y discrepancy to the Base Station in real time .

    The system monitors for theft and r e fi l l s t a t e s . B o t h e v e n t s a r e transmitted to Theftstop’s Base Station in real time and an SMS is sent to the client, also in real time.

The client can check the fuel level when planning refills.

Designed to protect product being delivered.

The system monitors changes in the fuel level and transmits the event/s to Theftstop’s Base Station in real time and an SMS is sent to the client, also in real time.

Designed to protect product being delivered, this system is similar to the mobile system but will monitor up to 6 sub-tanks.

The system monitors changes in the fuel level and transmits the event/s to Theftstop’s Base Station in real time and an SMS is sent to the client, also in real time.
