A CPD Scheme offering• Professional development which is practical in nature,

directly addressing current challenges • Flexibility in terms of a mode of delivery, the path followed,

and speed of progression • Professional development provision which is inclusive

across the whole staff body of new and established staff, and with routes to recognition as– Associate Fellow of HEA (D1)– Fellow of HEA (D2)– Senior Fellow of HEA (D3)

This process will use NILE and other tools to• promote the implementation and extension of new ideas

and skills gained, • scaffold developing understanding, for example of links

between courses and across dimensions of the UKPSF• guide staff to engage with relevant scholarship and

pedagogical literature• provide a forum for peer discussion and debate, and

foster awareness and understanding of alternative points of view

• support staff progression with respect to the requirements of Descriptors of the UKPSF at D1, D2 and D3
