We also share our expertise through Training Programmes at our Training Centre in Lonavla, India or at the client's location. Delegates from several countries have benefited from participating in these programmes.
Since 2008, Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and HDFC have jointly organised the annual 'Housing Finance Summer Academy' in Germany.
Our executives help formulate national housing policies and strategies. In fact, we have been invited by the Government of India to join a number of committees and task forces related to housing finance, urban development and capital markets � a task that we are proud to be part of.
TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE (TA)
The objective of the TA is to offer specific deliverables and support the client in all aspects relating to mortgage finance operations which include loan origination and recoveries, marketing and distribution strategies, accounting and management information systems, resource mobilisation and information technology support.
Under the TA programme, HDFC deputes experts in the identified operating areas who would review and advise the client on products, systems and procedures, including developing new products and designing marketing strategies.
These experts would visit the client and work closely with its officials to understand the external environment in which the client functions and thereafter make recommendations vis-a-vis strategies, products, policies, systems and procedures.

I was worried (scared) initially about going to India. The team at HDFC has buried that fear really well. Everything in the programme was well co-ordinated that you may have thought that the US president was in town. I arrived at the complex at 4am, greeted by the friendly staff and an interesting beverage. The hospitality was the best I've yet experienced. Everything was taken care. The visits to various off-sites were very pleasant and aided the whole picture of India and HDFC's business. The course content was excellent and interactive. The presenters were world-class. It has certainly opened the world for me to see how banking/housing is conducted in India as well as the other countries represented. Thank you to everyone involved !!!
My experience at HFDC put the meaning of running and managing a Property or Housing Company into perspective. HDFC has created a Housing 'Toolbox' for current and future managers. This programme should form a benchmark for similar programmes globally.
My visit was at a time when our company's five year strategy was due. The learning helped enhance our strategy. Lessons are relevant and replicable. The Faculty have discovered and perfected the 'Language of Excellence'.

As a first time visitor to India to attend this programme, I was quite impressed with the high level of organization of the organizers.
The faculty officials/ course presenters all did a marvelous job in that the course was more of a practical session which took into consideration our on the job experiences as against the usual theoretical approach to the 'ideal of Housing Finance Management'.
The organization and reception at the training centre throughout our one week stay was equally commendable as we were meant to feel quite at home despite the rigors and stress of the course.
