Warranty InformationGefenwarrantstheequipmentitmanufacturestobefreefromdefectsinmaterialandworkmanship.
IfequipmentfailsbecauseofsuchdefectsandGefenisnotifiedwithintwo(2)yearsfromthedateofshipment,Gefenwill,atitsoption,repairorreplacetheequipment,providedthattheequipmenthasnotbeensubjectedtomechanical,electrical,orotherabuseormodifications.Equipmentthatfailsunderconditionsotherthanthosecoveredwillberepairedatthecurrentpriceofpartsandlaborineffectatthetimeofrepair.Suchrepairsarewarrantedforninety(90)daysfromthedayofreshipmenttotheBuyer.

Connecting to a Local Area Network (LAN)
1. ConnectaCAT-5e(orbetter)cablebetweentheLinkjackontheSenderunitandyourLANconnection,viaaswitchorrouter.
2. ConnectanyoneofthethreeEthernetportsontheReceiverunittotheLAN.AlthoughanyoftheEthernetportscanbeused,itisrecommendedtouseEthernetport1forconnectingtheReceiverunittotheLAN,inordertoeasilyidentifythisasthe“LANcable”.
3. ConnectanyadditionalIP-baseddevicesordaisy-chainadditionalReceiverunitstoEthernetports2and3.

1. Bydefault,theHDKVMoverIPisshippedinDHCP mode.DHCPmodeshouldworkinmostcases,sincetheSenderandReceiverunitsareassignedanIPaddressbytheDHCPserverorrouter.Afteralltheconnectionshavebeenmade,theHDKVMoverIPwillattempttoestablishaconnectionbetweentheSenderandReceiverunit.Duringthistime,,theLinkLEDonboththeSenderandReceiverunitwillbegintoflashandthemessage“Tryingtofindthegateway”willbedisplayedonthescreen.Onceasuccessfulconnectionisestablished,theLinkLEDontheSenderandReceiverunit(s)willglowbrightgreenandthesourcesignalwillappearonthedisplay.
