    1/2

TOTAL CAL MUST NOT EXCEED 500/DAY

    Breakfast

    Coffee, tea, water

Best Guess If Known, enter here

Pick the protien: Cal/100g (avg) Cal/100 g (actual)

    115

Pick the fruit: Cal (avg) Cal (actual)

    62

Pick the bread: Cal (avg) Cal (actual)

    12.2

Pick the veg: Cal to 250 Max Quantity (grams)

    60.8 280

    Weight of food Calories

    known upper bound: 212 110

    known lower bound: 138 72

Weight of food (between the bounds): 175

Calculated Calories for specified weight: 91

    (fruit or bread from

    lunch possible)

MEAL PLANNER (based on avg. OR inputted Cal.)

    INTERPOLATOR

(use to figure calories at weight between 2 known values)

The "Max Quantity" calculated for vegies is based off

    everything else in the meal.

If no value is entered in "actual" box, the "Best Guess"

value will be used in the calculations.

An example of the use of the Interpolator:

You know an apple at 212 g has approximately 110 calories, and you know an

apple at 138 g has approximately 72 calories, but you have an apple that weighs

175 g.. how many calories is that?

Enter the known upper and lower bounds:

    Upper: 212 g, 110 cal

    Lower: 138 g, 72 cal

Enter the weight of your apple: 175

The calories in your apple are calculated: 91

Now you can enter those calories into the "known" box in the calorie counter

    above!

NOTE: not EVERY 212 g apple is exactly 110 cal. These are based on averages,

but this will get you in the ballpark.
