MEASURES TO PREVENT HAZE IN SOUTHEAST ASIA

♣ Financial incentives for farmers such that they can buy proper land-clearing tools.

♣ Educate the farmers about the consequences about the 'slash-and-burn' technique and teach them alternative methods to clear land.

♣ Set up laws to deal with farmers and corporations who caused the haze. Eg. Farmers who repeatedly use 'slash-and-burn' techniques will be jailed.

♣ Cooperation between countries to address and solve this issue.
