It’s Registration Week Hi Hawk Families! I hope you had a fantastic weekend! Here are the logistics about course registration. This went out earlier to parents, but I thought I would reiterate. Course registration for the 2020-2021 school year will occur this week for students in 9th, 10th, and 11th grades. The 2020-2021 Course Catalog is available on the Hillgrove homepage and on the counselor's blog. Students should review the course catalog to become familiar with the courses we plan to offer next year. Students can use the last page of the catalog to record courses they wish to take. Hopefully your child took a few minutes before Monday to identify the courses he/she wants to take next year. This will make the registration process easier. We will follow an alternate bell schedule on Monday, March 2 nd , that will allow students to return to first semester classes so that those teachers can make course recommendations. Then students will return to their current schedule to get course recommendations from current teachers. (We will follow our regular bell schedule the remainder of the week - No homeroom or Hawk Hour this week.) Student will also be able to get course labels for all courses during lunches on Tuesday and Wednesday. On Thursday and Friday, students will be called by last name to enter their courses into the scheduling database. After courses are entered, students will receive a printed copy of the courses for which they registered. Instructions to change a course are included at the bottom of the student's printed copy. (The complete registration process and timeline is located on page 2 of the course catalog.) If you have any questions about this message, please contact Hillgrove High School at 678-331- 3961. We are happy to assist you. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *****************************AP Testing Registration Notice************************ For the sake of accurate verification and organization as we prepare for AP Testing, we have an in-house deadline of Wednesday, March 4 th by the end of the school day.
