WHAT THE SYSTEM OFFERS

1. Non-Scanning Detection (E-Box detects items not scanned, by making use of

extensive algorithms pre-loaded on the system)

2. Over-charging (e.g. customer only receives one item, but item is scanned twice)

3. Basket/Trolley Based Loss (items in basket/trolley moves through till point

without being scanned)

4. Irregular Voiding Detection (item voided, but not returned, goes through)

5. Irregular Refund Detection (item refunded, item is not returned)

THE SYSTEM

1. The Hardware

E-Box (8/16 Channel) IP Cameras

NVR & PoE & UPS Monitor

- Total cost depends on the number of POS/Tills, which determine the number of IP Cameras & E-Boxes required. Prior to installation a comprehensive survey is done, followed by a detailed quotation indicating all costs involved.

- Financing available on a rental basis over 12, 24 or 36 months or on a cash basis.

- If on a cash basis, a 70% deposit required before installation.

2. The Software

All detected irregularities go through a Quality Control Process in India. Only

confirmed irregularities are published to the Client Portal. Monthly fixed service

charges are calculated on a transactional basis and this ensures you are only charged

for what is processed. Total cost depends on the number of transactions per month.

Minimum fixed cost = €335 p/m (±R4 800 p/m).

Subject to Rand/Euro exchange rate.

3. Broadband

±R800 p/m – R4 500 p/m

Depends on the amount of data to be uploaded. Initially high, decreases as staff

becomes aware that the system is successful.

RETURN ON INVESTMENT (ROI)

Example:- Where annual Turnover = R400 000 000,- with shrinkage of 1%,- of which 35% happens at POS,- and the system can prevent 80% of this,- annual saving = R1 030 000

The ROI is the nett result after the hardware & operating costs have

been taken into consideration (Excluding the Broadband cost)
