Have you made it yet? I’ve been meaning to tell you this story for ages. I bumped into an acquaintance. One I hadn’t seen for some months. I barely know her and I could easily have just said ‘Hi’ and got on with my day, but she stopped and asked… How are you? I’m good thanks. How are you? I’m fine. What work are you doing? I work for myself.

Have you made it yet?

I’ve been meaning to tell you this story for ages.

I bumped into an acquaintance. One I hadn’t seen for some months. I barely know her and I could easily have just said ‘Hi’ and got on with my day, but she stopped and asked…

How are you?

I’m good thanks. How are you?

I’m fine. What work are you doing?

I work for myself.

So, have you made it yet?

Have I made it yet?

HAVE I MADE IT YET?!

Made it by whose standards. YOURS?!

Made it?

I’ve barely begun!

Do you think you just arrive as some magical place called Made It Land

and just stop and rest there and view your life’s work?

Page 3: Have you made it yet?

MADE IT?!

In what way?

In that I’ve broken FREE from having a boss to BEING MY OWN BOSS?

That I have a complete and FINAL SAY in WHAT I do and WHO I work

with?

That I have CHOSEN FREEDOM IN MY LIFE and my business?

But instead of saying any of that, I simply said ‘Yes’ and walked away. #NeverStopping
