zappatini has been supplying harnesses for saxophones, bassoons and basset horns since 1985. Gilberto Zappatini’s own unsatisfactory experience with harnesses while playing the tenor sax prompted him to seek new solutions.Since then, several thousand zappatini harnesses have been sold on the Swiss market by specialized retailers – and these products are also becoming increa-singly popular in neighboring countries. Our success is entirely thanks to further recommendations by satisfied players.

Harnesses like the easy model (which was later also sold on the market, in mo-dified form, by other manufacturers) pro-vide a high level of comfort, relieve neck pressure, prevent tenseness and help to ward off headaches and migraines in sensitive people.The advantages of the synthesis mo-del – which is in fact a synthesis of the easy harness and the traditional neck strap – signal a clear improvement: at last saxophone players can now enjoy maximum freedom of movement toge-ther with perfect ergonomics. synthesis is also the first solution that caters to the needs of women players: with this model there is no undue pressure on the breast.Particularly in the case of children and

adolescents, whose bodies are still growing, great attention must be paid to posture and an optimum dispersion of the weight of the instrument. With the special kid size, even children can play their instrument intensively without acquiring a health-damaging posture.

The easy model is still popular with people who favor a harness that is simple to put on, rather than a system that pro-vides unlimited freedom of movement.

Customers who can-not find a specialized retailer locally (or customers living abroad) can order their harnesses directly from the manufacturer against proforma invoice.

synthesis sax is suitable for different types of saxophone, ranging from sopranino to baritone.synthesis bassoon is designed for instruments that need a longer cord. Changing instruments is very simple, thanks to the fully adjustable cord.

For other instruments with different anchor points you can shorten the cord without any need for special tools, or you can order an extra-long cord from the manufacturer.

easy is simple to put on and comfortable to wear. It comes in two different models: for saxo-phone or for bassoon / basset horn. It is available in the fol-lowing sizes:- kid (medium cord)- regular (short, medium and

long cord)- regular double cord, for sax

only (e.g. soprano and te-nor sax can be interchanged without having to adjust the straps)

For individual adjustments and interchanging, shorter or lon-ger cords can be supplied upon request.

synthesis guitar (available soon)Three different guitar harnesses have been developed and are currently being testing.There will be a classical guitar harness with either a long cord

for attachment at the sound hole or a short cord with an adapter that will remain fixed to the guitar.For electric guitars a harness will be available with a short cord and an adapter for attachment to the buttons on the strap.
