Tractor events will begin at 9 a.m. at Winona High School. There will also be a Classic Car Show beginning at 10 a.m. There will be numerous classic tractors and cars on display and some tractors will even be part of the tractor pull contest. Vendors will be set up as well with different items and goodies for sale. Proceeds from this fundraiser will go toward scholarships for Winona’s graduating seniors. So with simple math you can see that this school year is almost completely over. However just because the school year is close to being done, does not mean there isn’t any thing (besides summer) to look forward to. For instance there is still Harmony’s FFA state CDE’s, the 7 th grade trip to the fish hatchery in Athens, band majorette/drum major tryouts, the color run, field day, and of course senior week. Therefore Harmony defiantly has plenty of things for everyone to look forward to. Last Wednesday night was no different except along with the fifty young folks and thirty adults there were special guests in attendance. New Beginnings is part of the Grace Communion International group of churches. Visiting from their offices in Glendora, CA was Greg Williams, Director of Church Administration and Development for the U.S., Heber Ticas with Church Planning and from Oklahoma City Regional Pastor Mike Rasmussen. By Charles Johnson WINONA - The Harmony Lady Eagles won their twelfth straight district game last Tuesday evening as they pounded the Winona Lady Wildcats, 16-3, in District 14-AAA softball action. The game ended in five innings due to the 10-run mercy rule. Harmony jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first inning. The Lady Eagles added five runs in the second and seven in the third frame to launch a commanding, 16-0, lead before Winona finally pushed across three runs in the bottom of the third inning. Harmony brought out the “sticks” against Winona as the Lady Eagles had 12 hits in the game with six of these for extra-bases. Mikaelyn Settles had a home run, double, walk, and 3 RBIS to lead the Harmony offense. Other Lady Eagles having a multiple-hit game were Cailee Davidson, 2-for-3, including a triple and double; Hunter Morris, 2-for-3, with a triple; and McKinna Seahorn, 2-for-3 plus a walk. Settles was the winning pitcher for Harmony. She recorded 10 of 15 outs via the strike out route. Winona only managed three hits in the game---all singles. Harmony (12-0) was to host Mineola (11-1) on Friday, April 17. The Lady Eagles close out the regular season on Tuesday, April 21, when they travel to Alba-Golden to take on the A-G Lady Panthers. Gametime is 6:00 P.M.

Lady Eagles won their twelfth straight district game last Tuesday evening as they pounded the Winona Lady Wildcats, 16-3, in District 14-AAA softball action. The game ended in five innings due to the 10-run mercy rule.

Harmony jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first inning. The Lady Eagles added five runs in the second and seven in the third frame to launch a commanding, 16-0, lead

before Winona finally pushed across three runs in the bottom of the third inning.
