U S I N G T H I S G U I D EThis Style Guide provides graphic standards for using the Harley Owners Group logos, colors, and visual elements.

Please read this Style Guide completely, and refer to it when designing or producing graphics that include the Harley Owners Group logos. Proper use of these logos will help avoid unnecessary variations and ensure a consistent, strong brand image.

A N O T E O N F I L E F O R M A T SJPG is a pixel-based format best suited for on-screen applications such as websites or PowerPoint presentations. JPG images can be reduced without much loss in quality, but they do not enlarge well. Adobe Illustrator EPS files are vector-based images, and can be reduced or enlarged without loss of quality. EPS files are the preferred choice for all print applications such as programs, posters, or signs.

T H E H . O . G .® L O G OThe H.O.G. Logo is the primary symbol of the Harley Owners Group® organization/riding group. It consists of the H.O.G. eagle perched on the H.O.G. icon and banner. Whenever possible, this is the logo that should be used to represent Harley Owners Group.

The H.O.G. Logo is designed to work effectively when placed on both a light and dark background.

Because the H.O.G. Icon does not say “Harley Owners Group,” it is not recommended for official correspondence, and is best used on applications such as apparel and merchandise.

This is especially important when H.O.G. logos are used with other logos or in advertising. Below are guidelines for ensuring adequate space around the logos.

Keep space around the H.O.G. Logo equal to the height of the letter “H.”

Keep space around the H.O.G. Icon equal to the height of the Bar & Shield.

Keep space around the H.O.G. Wordmark equal to the height of the letter “H.”

H . O . G .® L O G O U S A G E W I T H C H A P T E R C H E V R O N SThe H.O.G. Chapter Chevon is used to identify individual H.O.G. Chapters. When using the Chevron, the clear space requirements (see Page 7) for the H.O.G. Logo do not apply.

When applying a H.O.G. Chevron shape to the H.O.G. Logo, center the Chevron above and directly adjacent to the H.O.G. Logo, making sure the Chevron extends the width of the entire logo.

T H E H . O . G .® H E R I T A G E L O G OThe H.O.G. Heritage Logo is the logo that proudly represented H.O.G. for its first 30 years, and will continue to reside on the backs and in the hearts of members around the globe.

This logo will not be retired – it will still be available on select pins, patches, and merchandise – but it should not be used on official communications.

CHAPTERS: H.O.G. encourages you to continue to use flags, logos, and banners that are important to your chapter’s history. However, please do not use it as the primary logo on chapter communications (websites, letterhead, newsletters, etc.).

DEALERS: We recommend transitioning to the new H.O.G. Logo in early 2014. You may also continue to display signs, banners, and flags with the Heritage Logo to represent your history with Harley Owners Group.
