*** this is not a real story of mine but I have created & written it in a way to have more impact on the minds of the readers What I am about to share with you is my own real life's story which serves as a great example of depicting the pure positivity of Haridwar. Just like many other big metro city dwellers, I was also stuck & stressed in my call centre job in Delhi back in 2007. Over that, an unforeseen tragedy happened in my home as I lost my paternal grandmother to an accident. This further aggravated my misery. Finally, after thinking about a lot of things, I decided to visit Haridwar. On one lucky sunday morning of 4th march, I just went to nearby taxi stand & hired a taxi. 10 minutes later, the taxi was travelling like wind over the peaceful empty roads of Delhi. This was a pleasant surprise as we Delhiites have a habit of seeing traffic jams only. Before I could realize, the taxi had already reached on Meerut bypass road. There, i had my breakfast at Big Bite restaurant. Now, I was getting the experience of moving towards a Bliss as journey had become even more smoother. Once I reached Haridwar, I immediately asked one of the locals about the way to HAR KI PAUDI. The moment I started walking towards it, I felt a strange but beautiful vibe of Purity! After reaching at the steps of Maa Ganga, I didn't even feel the presence of human civilization around me. I simply took a dip in that pristine holy water after removing my clothes & shoes. Such is the existence of serene environment there that everybody seems to be in a happy mood! What I am about to share with you is my own real life's story which serves as a great example of depicting the pure positivity of Haridwar.

As i came out, a priest with a shining face like that of a sun, smiled at me & said with jest - "iska toh ho gaya Kalyaan!". Those very special words did what a great medicine does to an ill man. I was simply purified! No matter, how many of today's youngsters associate Ganga & Haridwar to "Fake Godmen in Bhagwa Vastra" & politicians whose careers are based on religion based politics, the reality is that Maa Ganga, along with whole of Haridwar, does purify you. Since then whenever I see somebody in stress, I suggest him or her to go to haridwar just like me to find the real bliss of life & lose their stress. JAI HO MAA GANGA MAIYA KI! HAR HAR GANGEY!
