This “flower” design is an example of an Artistic Custom Parquet provided by Czar Floors. The inlay is designed specifically for the given room with the ability to follow the shape of furniture placement. It can be scaled and adjusted to fit any requirements with a variety of available options for the background, wood species and design.

Installation of this sophisticated design is a breeze. Flooring is supplied as a set of precut, marked modules assembled on site in the puzzle fashion according to the provided instructions.

The latest Czar Floors parquet additions are uniquely built models M27 and M28. Pre-assembled, solid modules are finished with hot wax/oil to create “Old Europe” look. Wood species are “aged,” brushed, stained, smoked and distressed to achieve the desired effect.

Czar Floors is capable of creating most designs in wood — from replacing woods in a standard product to recreating a sketch. Company logos, family crests or truly unique inlays are some examples.Czar Floors has a design team that works with architects and designers. Our professionals work with AutoCAD and Adobe Photoshop to render artwork for custom designs. Each custom project is done by providing our customer with the drawings of the future floor design and wood placement. Maintenance

Hardwood flooring and inlays are natural products and will expand and contract during heating and non-heating seasons, causing changes in the joinery and the gaps. It is vital that reasonable humidity of 40% to 60% be maintained. Use of humidifiers during the heating season is highly recommended.

Wood Species

(light to dark)

Natural wood characteristics such as grain color variations, streaks, small knots and the like are normal. Therefore, no two medallions, borders or parquet tiles will ever be exactly the same. Color variations are natural occurrences due to wood species, age and exposure to ultraviolet light.

Standard medallion sizes are 40”, 48”, 60” and up. Additionally, some models are available in smaller sizes: 18”, 24” or 30”. Custom sizes are available. Oval medallions are measured by major length.Standard thickness is 3/4” but are available in thicknesses 3/8” to 1”.Wood species can be substituted for an additional charge.Standard medallions are unfinished but can be prefinished in different gloss levels for an additional charge. For standard parquet (M series), MX4 and MX10, borders thickness is 3/4”. For Artistic MX series parquet, standard thickness is 5/8” solid wood. Thickness can be customized from 3/8” to 1”.Border section length varies from model to model to maintain the pattern and averages 3 ln.ft.Border width and parquet tile size can be customized for an additional charge.Most borders have corresponding 90-degree corner blocks. Other angles can be produced as well.Wood substitutions are available for every product.Standard products are unfinished unless noted but can be prefinished for an additional charge. Parquet can be finished with hot wax oil or polyurethane, UV-cured finish.All products have a square edge, straight cut surface on all sides. Prefinished items can be micro-beveled.
