Maths Event for parents and carers Don’t forget about our Maths event for parents and carers on Monday 14th January.

We will look at St Saviour’s Junior Church School’s approach to a maths mastery curriculum, and focus on some of the methods we use in school to teach the four operations, showing concrete, pictorial and abstract examples.

There will be opportunities to practice these methods during the session (please don’t let this put you off, there will be no pressure to take part and if you would prefer to just observe that is ok too.)

There will also be the opportunity to order some of the maths resources we use in school if you would like to prac-tice with your child/ children at home.

The session will run from 3.45pm in the school hall for approximately 45 minutes. Children are welcome to attend with a parent or

carer, although this is not essential.

There is lots going on around school. Follow our school Twitter page to see examples of children’s work, messages, updates and videos.
