Greetings Populace,
We are currently in the eye of the storm regarding events. Recently we had folks regale us
with fun tales from Rowany Festival and some of us enjoyed the lovely 30th Anniversary
of Aneala at the feast/tourney. Now we have May Crown to look forward to. I intend to
represent Dragons Bay to the best of my abilities for Their Majesties. We also have only
two weeks (about a month) 'till Pencampwr. My sewing projects are looking at
me expectantly...
I'd like to offer thanks again to Abertridwr for joining us at the Willetton Demo. I thought
it was a success. Hopefully we see a new face or two, but regardless, we had a lovely day
out.
The trailer has a new home! I'm sure Lord Pantera will find it very useful. I am glad that
the saga has had a positive outcome.
My regalia agenda continues. We still haven't been able to hold a sewing workshop due to
schedule changes. Hopefully we will be able to have one soon. I'm happy to offer my
house and table to those who may want to buddy up to work on things leading up to May
Crown and Pencampwr. Along with your projects we can fit in a few chair cover finishing
touches and work on a banner or two.
On May 7th, I will be running a static display pavilion in the morning at Sloan's Cottage,
Kwinana. It starts around 8 am and ends just after noon. If anyone would like to come by
in garb to help promote the SCA, I'd be glad to have a buddy. Training will still be
running concurrently at Dragon’s Lair.
Before I go, I'd like to promote attendance to Council meetings. It's nice to get input and
ideas from members of the group on what we are doing for the year.
Everyone is welcome.
Yours in Service
