Cross-Country On October 11,

the cross-country

running team ran like the wind

chilly tempera-tures and rain. We

Information Re: Alexander Mackenzie High School’s IB Programme

In order to register for the IB Programme, parents need access

to EDSBY. Even though feeder schools might not yet be on EDSBY, parents who are going to register online for the IB

assessment tests will be able to create an online account through EDSBY.

The online application also opens on Friday, October 20th, at 10:00 am.

On Friday morning, October 20th, upon accessing the link (www.yrdsb.ca), parents will be provided with instructions on how to create an EDSBY account so that they can

complete the online registration and payment through PayPal.

Please be advised that parents have time from October 20th until November 8th to create an EDSBY account and do the online registration. Parents are encouraged to create an

account early on in the registration process to avoid any unforeseen technical difficulties.

ADULT CHILDREN LOSING A PARENTA six session group for adult children who have recently lost a parent. Topics include: coping with grief, loss and legacy and resolving unfinished business.

ONE FAMILY, TWO HOMESA six session series for families experiencing separation and divorce. Children participate in separate age appropriate groups which will help them to: feel better, deal with some of the myths and know where to get support. Topics for parents include: tips for keeping the kids out of the conflict, trends in family law and the impact of separation and divorce on children.
