Issue 18 18th June 2020 Caring, Learning, Growing: Every Child, Every Day Dear Parents, Carers and Friends, We seem to have just got into the swing of things this term, and we are now beginning to wind down for the mid-year holidays. Next week we are expecting further information from the Government to the lifting of stage 3 restrictions. We are hopeful that this will give us direction on school camps, and additional information will be provided to you once we know if and how these may go ahead. A huge thank you to Josh Beddison for changing the bubble taps over to pillar taps which has made the washing of children’s hands at the end of recess and lunch so much easier. It has also assisted with the children being able to fill their drink bottles. This pandemic has brought home just how fragile our way of life is. How easily everything that we take for normal can change in an instant. It has also reminded us of the little things in our lives that we took for granted are the things that we care for and value. Next term we will be launching our new iNewsletter. This will replace our current format and will be available through PAM and the website. The advantage of iNewsletter is that it allows for the automatic translation into Malayalam, Cebuano and Swahili and many other languages. More information to come. For those families awaiting information about Sacraments Mrs McKinnon has sent information and Sacrament packs home today, so please check your child’s bag if they are participating in the sacramental program. Further information regarding dates will be available as restrictions for Churches ease.
