the settingHold your ceremony at our outdoor gazebo overlooking the

picturesque golf course. We organize and coordinate your

rehearsal; take care of the set up exactly as you’ve envisioned it;

provide a luxurious bridal room for the bride and bridesmaids

and separate lounge for the groom and groomsmen. Your

ceremony will be flawless!

You and your guests will enjoy beautiful views of the golf course.

The beautifully landscaped grounds, waterfall and clock tower

are favorites for your memorable photographs.

the receptionYour very own Bridal Concierge greets you at your limousine

and never leaves your side.

Host your cocktail hour on our beautiful outdoor patio or

rent Monty’s River Grille and enjoy the gorgeous views of the

golf course and Housatonic River. When Monty’s is rented for

your cocktail hour, the restaurant and patio are yours for the

entire evening!

Your reception is in our unique ballroom with high, vaulted

ceiling, elegant chandelier and exquisitely draped tall windows.

The neutral color palette compliments any style and color you

choose for your wedding.

the cuisineA traditional wedding reception at Great River is five hours long

and includes five hours of house premium open bar, champagne

toast, an hour of stationed and butler passed hors d’ oeuvres,

specialty salad course, three entrée selections to offer your guests

and traditional wedding cake. We offer a wide variety of selections

to ensure that your wedding is exactly the way you’ve imagined

it. A private tasting in our restaurant will help you choose your

perfect menu.
