Style: Hapkido

Han-Jae Ji was born in 1936 in Angong, Korea, and began training in Yoo Sool with Yong Sool Choiin 1949.

Han-Jae Ji o$ened his !irst +o0ang in Andong, alling it An oo Kwan and began to teah Yoo Kwon Sool.

A!ter nine onths in Andong, he deided to reloate to Seo&l in Se$teber o! 192.

Ji o$ened a sall +o0ang at a ne-tie !ator% where he had a !ew st&dents. "hese were ainl% !ro Han

Yang ni/ersit%. His sills and teahing beae better so he deided to o/e to a ore s&itable loation. He

rented a roo !ro a loal bo5ing instr&tor, and had aess to a reg&lar at where he o&ld ond&t hislasses !or the !irst tie.

Ji o/ed his shool to Joong 'oo Shi Jang in 192 where he ontin&ed teahing &ntil 1967. 8t was now thathe began to $iee together the Yoo Sool teahings o! randaster Choi, the ethods o! editation, the "ae-

@n Se$teber =, 1963, the Korean go/ernent granted a Charter to the Korea Kido Assoiation. "he% were

able to s&$er/ise the standards o! teahing as well as $rootion re:&ireents o! 'la 'elts in thirt%-one

di!!erent Korean artial arts. "he !irst hairan o! the Korea Kido Assoiation was Yong-Sool Choi
