Hans Gronhi Graphic Technology Company became part of thelisted Hans group of companies in 2006. The sister companies,Han’s Laser Technology and Han’s CTP Equipment produceCTP units, electronic components and laser cutting equipment.

Gronhi has manufactured printing presses for over 30 years inthe city of Yingkou, in Liaoning province, the industrial heartof northern China.

controlled machine tools. Thistechnology is central to Gronhi

manufacturing quality. Partsare precisly tested for

tolerances in a Co-ordinateMeasuring Machine (CMM)

under controlled temperatureconditions.

Gronhi's ISO9001 Quality Certified assembly hall produces morethan 33 complete presses per month. Many components areimported from Europe and Japan. Each installed part is checked3 times in Gronhi's QA procedures.

The Hans Gronhi 52 series is a unique range ofpresses. The press can be installed in theaffordable standard lever-action ink ductconfiguration and later upgraded with optionalautomatic productivity features. All optionalupgrades are available after installation ason-site retrofits.

The standard GH522, GH524 or GH525 modelshave a stream feeder with vacuum belt feedtable, semi-auto plate changing and touch-screen3 axis register adjustment on the run. The inkduct is laser-cut lever-action ink keys. Thismanual duct can be set with CIP3 ink data fromthe offline Ink Profiler computer. Continuousrefrigerated dampening is supplied by a Beierxinrefrigeration and recirculation unit. These modelshave pneumatic impression and plate changemechanisms. The strong base and side framecastings make Gronhi the heaviest 52cm offsetin the world.

The Hans Gronhi 52 series also has a range ofoptional upgrades. The Italian Monigraf inkconsole and precision electronic ink keys can beretrofitted or factory fitted. This proven ink keysystem accepts digital CIP3 data from the InkProfiler computer over a LAN. A Japanese brandof automatic blanket washing can also beretrofitted or factory fitted. An AustralianE-Control IR dryer significantly shortens workand turn times. Oscillating forme rollers canbe fitted for anti-ghosting.

A Mitsubishi PLC is at the heart of a reliable and easilysupported electronic control system.
