EnergyAt the Leading Trade Fair for Integrated Energy Systems and Mobility the energy sector showcases solutions for industrial enterprises – and vice versa. Unlike other competing shows “Energy” brings together all the relevant technologies at a single venue – i.e. generation, transmission, storage, smart distribution, energy management in buildings, plus mobility applications. This manifests itself in the programmatic motto “Integrated Energy”.

Virtual Power PlantsDecentralized generation (based on CHP, biogas, wind and solar power) holds the key to our future energy supplies. Thanks to digital control systems, virtual power plants create the basis for the demand-oriented distribution and direct marketing of locally generated electricity.

Digital EnergyThis new special display area in hall 12 will showcase comprehensive energy management solutions in the industrial context. “Digital Energy” is targeted at exhibitors and visitors of HANNOVER MESSE, especially from the energy-intensive industries, looking to implement or improve an energy management system in their companies.

Building Energy TechnologiesA a new showcase where producers and providers of building technical equipment and services can meet up with decision-makers from industry. Located right next door to displays of decentralized energy supply technologies, such as CHP, CCHPand ORC, the showcase is all about the efficient use of energy in new, converted and refurbished non-residential buildings.

Integrated Energy PlazaLocated at the centre of Hall 27, this visitor highlight gives detailed insights into tomorrow’s integrated energy systems. A multimedia stage show presents the latest smart components as well as examples of their successful integration.

Twin-track strategy for digitizationAs a result of the rapid digitization of the supply chain, in-plant logistics and industrial production can no longer be seen as separate entities. For this reason we have decided to amalgamate the two leading trade shows in these sectors – CeMAT and HANNOVER MESSE. As from 2018 they will now take place in parallel every two years.
