HAND TYPE PLANTERSThe Almaco Push Type Planters, distributed by Seedburo, are suitable forsowing a wide variety of seeds and grains and are designed for small to mediumsized plots. These planters are ideal when a precise planting instrument isdesired. Both models feature ease of operation and simple positive adjustmentfor seeding rates.

PUSH TYPE CONE SEEDERThe Almaco Cone Seeder is ideal for sowing numerous seeds and grains. Thisseeder uses the same reliable seeding mechanism used on Almaco’s largerplanters. It features a 4” wide front drive wheel, cone type seeder unit with 12”diameter polished aluminum cone and divider funnel, standard 3” diameter seedcup and planter frame with adjustable grasp-type handles. The sprocket and driveassembly allow for row lengths from 3’2” to 22’4”. Complete with slanted dualcovering wheels and planter shoe with depth control. HAND HELD PLANTERSSeed is manually dropped into top seed port and is conducted via the seed tube tothe closed planting bit. The seed then remains captive within the planting bit untilthe planter is rocked forward and the bit is opened. These are useful for small tomedium sized plot planting or for selective replanting of previously seeded plots.

Two models are available. The SSHP-NBA, narrow barrel, has an all metal barrelwith an opening of 1 3/8” x 7/8”. The bit depth penetration is adjustable to 3”.Overall height is 35” and approximate wt. is 4 lbs. Ship wt. 9 lbs. Dims. 12” L x 4” Wx 36” H.

The SSHP-SBA is the standard single barrel model with a wood back, woodhandle and foot lever. The barrel opening is 2 1/2” x 3”. Height is 33” and wt.4 lbs. Ship dims. are 12” L x 4” W x 36” H, Ship wt. 8 lbs.

PUSH TYPE V-BELT PLANTERThe V-belt Push Planter is a dual-function field implement capable of uniform andaccurate dispensing of numerous seed types. It is particularly suited for applicationwhere fine seed are to be planted. It may also be used to apply granular typefertilizers or herbicide. Choice of ribbed or smooth style v-belt.

Complete with planter frame with adjustable grasp-type handles, 4” wide front drivewheel, 8” diameter running wheels, planter shoe with depth control adjustment andsplit covering wheel.
