The bracket should be first drawn, then the worm shaft and wheel. To ge

worm thread, take ⅓ of the pitch, that is ½ x 1½ = ½ inch, this gives the b

section and take ⅔ x 1½ = 1 inch, this gives the breadth at root of section

tooth of the worm wheel is the same as that of the worm thread. Draw the
