• A public charitable trust serving in 8 States in India and 7 countries across 3 continents

• Vision: To alleviate poverty through job creation and integrated community development

• We work through a 5 pillar programme as seen

• 5 year target: Creating 1.3 million jobs by 2013-14. The target was achieved a year ahead of schedule as per study conducted by M-Cril, an independent rating agency). Current target : 5 million jobs by 2020

• Are privileged to handle major projects under aegis of UNDP, UNICEF, World Bank, SIDA, AIT, ADB, NABARD, Govt. of India, to name just a few.

• We also handle CSR projects of numerous Corporates, mainly MNCs

Our 5 year Goal – achieved in 4 years

To create 1.3 million jobs by 2013-14 This was a five year goal taken up by Hand in Hand in

2008-09.

The figure represented 10% of the population of Tamil Nadu at the time of commencement of the programme who were Below Poverty Line

The target was surpassed in Feb 2013, one year ahead of schedule as per evaluation & study conducted by M-Cril

On 1st November 2013, we have created 1.438 million jobs

Our current target : 5 million jobs by 2020

• Attracts students from reputed universities as Stanford, London School of Economics, Stockholm School of Economics and India Institute of Technologies

• Hand in Hand’s Social Entrepreneurship Programme was conducted in India from 22-26 August 2011 with support of Professors from Harvard Business School.

• 54 participants / 19 countries

• Course combined the Harvard Business School’s case study approach with

the on-the-ground expertise of Hand in Hand India
