Hygiene experts from
Diversey India were requested
for interactive sessions to
share knowledge with the
team. They showed videos on
hand hygiene & shared its
importance with team
members from Housekeeping,
Food & Beverage Service,
Kitchen, Kitchen Stewarding,
Finance, Human Resource,
Front Office and Chauffeurs.
During the entire month, posters
were put up in back of the
house areas like Kitchen,
Restaurants, In Room Dining,
Stewarding, Staff Lockers,
Team Cafeteria etc. to spread
awareness about importance
hygiene for team members in
guest contact.

Hand Hygiene posters were displayed in lockers, cafeteria and kitchen areas
Cafeteria Activity: Wash your hands before you eat
11:30 am - 3 pm
Human Resource team provided Hand Wash slips to every diner in the cafeteria as a reminder to wash hands before having a meal. Diners were directed to the hand wash area first before they picked up the food from the buffet.
Awareness session for Chauffeurs 2:00 PM Hand Hygiene Awareness session conducted for the chauffeurs.

6TH HAI HAND HYGIENE DAY CELEBRATIONS AT TRIDENT AGRA With the commitment to promote a clean and hygienic environment, Trident, Agra celebrated World Hand Hygiene Day on 5th May 2019. It is to remind us that Clean Hands Count every day of the year and in more ways than we think. With a vision to create awareness about the importance of washing of hands as an effective way of promoting community health and wellbeing:- The day started with, Executive Chef, Adarsh Sharma taking a presentation for all the contractual Staff and support staff of the hotel on hand hygiene. Following topics were covered:-
Importance in hand washing for prevention of the spread of germs
List when to wash your hands Correct procedure for hand washing Various products in market related to hand hygiene Soap and water vs hand sanitizers Video demonstrating proper method of washing hands
Post presentation Trident, Agra held departmental poster competition on hand hygiene and its importance. Winner of the competition was awarded with a small hamper of hand hygiene products. Later in the evening all posters were displayed in the heart of the house areas. To create an awareness on the importance of Hand Hygiene among children. Few team members along with the Human Resource Team went to UMEED- a school for under privilege students to spend some time and give them small hand hygiene day goodies as a token of remembrance .
