Overview - The purpose of the Lt. Col. Mark McGeehan Character Award (MMCA) is to distinguish a leader of the graduating class and to remember a former Oak Glen student, Mark McGeehan. The graduating senior should be a leader in the classroom, on the athletic field, and in the hallway. This year’s winner will be awarded $3,000.00 toward college expenses.

Given yearly to students who success in the face of addiction. Tony, a Weir High graduate was killed in an alcohol-related car accident after struggling with his own addiction for many years.
